Hi! If you’re here, you’ve probably run into some kind of sleep issue with your child. Or maybe it’s been hard from the start. Whatever the case may be, I’d love to connect with you and see if my services would be a good fit for you and your family.

A little background about me…

I grew up in a small town and went to college in Fort Worth. I met my husband (a firefighter) and got married young. Through all the challenges of being young, married, in college, and figuring out life outside of my small town world, I learned that I’m passionate about helping people. That manifested into a career in Physical Therapy and then after having our son, an eagerness to help babies get more sleep.

Once you have a baby, sleep is one of those things everyone has an opinion on. Whether baby is sleeping or not is the 2nd or 3rd question people ask. Not everyone understands developmentally appropriate sleep expectations nor do they understand that kids aren’t “good” or “bad” sleepers. Some kids are just naturally better at soothing than others and the others just need some help in figuring it out.

That’s where I come in. I’m a certified baby & toddler sleep consultant who would love to help you learn the ins and outs of YOUR child’s sleep specificially. What do you have to lose? More sleep?

My story might sound a lot like where you’re at right now with your own child. Or maybe your struggles are different than ours.. just know there’s #solidarity in baby sleep (or lack thereof)!

For some reason, I researched all the baby things…except sleep when I was expecting our first child. I naively thought he would just sleep when he was tired (ha), or that breastfeeding would be our secret sleep super power.

I was so WRONG.

My son just didn’t sleep. I could wear him in the carrier and bounce him on the yoga ball for hours to get him to sleep/stay asleep. Not exactly sustainable or good for your back (which I did injure a few times)! It led to sleep deprivation for us both & desperation. We coslept/bedshared until my mental health suffered so much that we had no choice but to make a change.

We bought a popular online program to implement. Let me tell you, it was MESSY. My son did not fit into their “one size fits all” approach, and we had to purchase more help in order to truly get him sleeping well. I then found an online community that walked me through all the bumps in the road of the first 2 years of his sleep.

As a way of paying it forward, I’m now a part of their leadership team, helping new moms, experienced moms, desperate moms solve their own sleep problems and answering their toughest questions.

I‘m a certified sleep consultant helping you reclaim your evenings, sanity, good night’s sleep, and quality time with your kids (& partner!).

You can stop reading all the books, blogs (mine included), and often contradicting information on the internet. Don’t listen to the people who don’t even have a great sleep situation. You’ll drive yourself silly when you’re already so EXHAUSTED!

You don’t have to accept “common” as “normal.” They’re not synonymous and it’s okay to break the mold when something needs to change for your family.

All of that information is missing the personal touch you and your child need. The holistic approach I take accounts for your child’s own rhythm with sleep and problem solving, alongside you, the best way to handle each and every situation that arises.

I promise you won’t regret getting more sleep!

I can assist with a variety of issues from setting your newborn up for healthy habits, to an age appropriate schedule, helping your infant fall asleep independently, lengthening naps, toddler bed transition, dropping the pacifier, and keeping your preschooler in bed. I can ease the transition from bedsharing to sleeping alone in a crib and eliminate early morning wake ups. Take my free online sleep assessment and get the process started!
